45-Day Diagnostic Evaluation

This service offers a comprehensive evaluation, including psychological and psychiatric assessments as well as stabilization/brief treatment for adolescents with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems.

There are developmentally appropriate therapeutic activities in a closely supervised environment. Extensive opportunities for observation, assessment, and intervention are possible in this intensive setting.

The goal of the diagnostic evaluation is to:

Complete a comprehensive assessment of the youth and family, to include mental health, psychiatric, and psychological evaluations, as well as physical examinations, and nursing assessments.

Work collaboratively with providers and referral sources to ensure a smooth and effective transition to community-based or other placements.

At the end of the evaluation period, the treatment team will offer a treatment recommendation for continued care.
