Residential Treatment:

Emergency Shelter Care

This program offers a 24-hour secure facility for adolescents; providing stabilization and effective transition for those who may have disrupted another placement or who are in current crisis.

The goal of the emergency shelter program is to:

Provide a 24-hour secure placement option for youth that have met criteria to be removed from an established placement or dysfunctional home.

Stabilize the youth and prevent any further re-traumatization that may already come with the placement.

Work collaboratively with families, providers and referral sources to ensure a smooth and effective transition to community-based or other placements once needs have been identified.
